Ørsted tosses EUR 67 million into waste

The value of a UK-based waste-to-energy plant is written down by almost as much as the original investment, while the utility announces a canceled inauguration after three years of delays. We are far from having given up, says Ørsted CEO Henrik Poulsen, who hopes to commission the facility this year.

Ørsted announced in 2016 that the plant would enter operation in the first half of 2017.
