US' largest solar farm nears approval

The third solar farm built on public land during Trump's presidency seems closer to becoming a reality, which would make it the largest PV facility on US soil.

A new solar farm appears set to break a capacity record, now that the Trump administration has practically given the project a green light.

The facility, Gemini, is planned to be located in the Nevada desert just outside Las Vegas. Warren Buffett's NV Energy will own the installation, which will be built by developers Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners and Arevia Power.
