Suzlon founder reports mystery suitor

While Tulsi Tanti reports renewed interest in the crisis-plagued turbine maker, Indian authorities are in no small words attacking an analysis that concludes the country will fall short of its 2022 expansion target by 71 GW.

Vestas reportedly declined twice, while Brookfield has also dropped the idea. But now, debt-ridden Indian wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon has found a new suitor for its business, the OEM's Chairman and Founder Tulsi Tanti tells Indian media Livemint. Who will be the company's savior, however, remains unknown.

"We can’t disclose the name as we have signed a confidentiality agreement," Tanti tells the media.
