Bids in the third allocation of the UK's Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction were meant to have been filed Thursday at the latest. But the deadline has been extended to Aug. 29 due to a "legal challenge" related to the tender, according to Renews.
"We run the scheme lawfully and will be contesting this claim," says a spokesman for the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to the media outlet.
