Spanish energy company Enerfin has awarded an onshore wind contract to General Electric. The US conglomerate's chief executive of Onshore Wind for Europe & SSA, Peter Wells, is pleased with the 50 MW hardware order to wind farm Cofrentes – and that the company has gained a new customer.
"We are very excited to be working with Enerfín in our first project together and to be able to do so on a project that highlights our commitment to the Spanish wind market, while offering the full range of local capabilities, expertise and unique solutions we have in Spain," Wells writes in a statement.
