GE underestimated renewable power shift

GE has been experiencing some major challenges, and its new strategy has moved into asset sales to prop up its core businesses.

The once illustrious conglomerate, which at one time had the world's highest-valued equity, suffered the disgrace of being expelled from the Dow Jones index last year after 110 years of membership due to large market depreciation.
