GE's Renewable Energy division has recorded a combined order intake of more than 2 GW from the first five months of the year – 2,019 MW, to be precise, the US conglomerate informs during a press conference at a wind trade fair held in Houston, Texas.
Despite these fine figures, Vestas has booked a far larger order intake than its US rival thus far in 2019, thereby both overtaking GE in its US domestic market as well as the rest of the world.
