With an contract for 350 MW, Nordex enters recent weeks' order bonanza in the US. It is not only a large order in terms of total capacity for the German wind turbine manufacturer, but also in terms of individual turbines. Thus, for the first time on the North American market, it is the Delta4000 platform that has been selected, and the planned delivery entails 74 turbines with rotor diameters of 149 meters and 4-4.8 MW generators, the company announces.

"With the N149/4.0-4.5, our highly efficient turbine is now being deployed for the first time in the United States. It is especially designed for regions with moderate wind, which makes it the ideal choice for many potential project sites in the US," says Nordex Chief Sales Officer Patxi Landa.
