Brazil certifies Siemens Gamesa wind turbine

The German-Spanish manufacturer has received as Brazilian certification for one of its wind turbine models, allowing developers to seek financing through the country's development bank.

Brazil has granted a so-called financing certificate to Siemens Gamesa's wind turbine model, SG 3.4-132, the company informs in a press statement.

The Brazilian National Bank for Economic and Social Development Bank, BNDES, has issued a certificate to the German-Spanish producer's wind turbine, thereby recognizing its compliance with locally produced content requirements as well as manufacturing process legislation, as machine is made in the domestic Camaçari factory.
