Vestas will be a project developer in Poland

The turbine manufacturer has entered several Polish wind projects as a joint venture partner and will operate as co-developer. This is part of our strategy, says Vestas.

Vestas has come on board several wind projects in Poland as a co-developer. The turbine manufacturer has entered a joint venture with Polish project developer GEO Renewables to develop seven onshore wind projects, the Danish wind turbine manufacturer confirms to EnergyWatch. 

"As part of our strategy, we are engaged in a limited number of co-development activities around the world with specific customers who have requested such participation from Vestas, reads the written response.
