Swiss utility buys Norwegian wind project

Zürich's municipal utility has purchased a 22-turbine wind farm project in Norway's Rogaland province.

Norwegian wind farm project Måkaknuten has been acquired by Zürich's municipally owned utility Ewz from Norsk Vind AS, informs Norwegian media, Tu Energi.

Ewz's investment is the result of several municipal referendums, wherein voters opted to phase out nuclear power. The utility is also working to expand its renewable energy portfolio.
