Italian energy company Enel's green project portfolio, Enel Green Power, has just landed a major addition in Colombia's energy auction held last week, the country's energy regulator, La Comisión de Regulación de Energía y Gas (CREG), informs in a press statement Tuesday.
Enel succeeded in winning the auction with three wind project bids with a combined capacity of 491 MW. These are distributed among the facilities Windpeshi at 195 MW, the 198 MW Tumawind as well as Chemesky at 98.85 MW. Furthermore, Enel can also celebrate winning solar capacity allocations totaling 170 MW.
