2018 was a nightmarish year for Danish cable manufacturer NKT, which in the third quarter said goodbye to its Chief Executive following a major downgrade.
The company's initial gross earnings forecast of between EUR 90 and 110 was written down to EUR 70 million in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciations and amortizations— and that was quite the precise estimate, as NKT's cable division booked an operating result of EUR 70.2 million in 2018.
