Innogy to build subsidy-free solar farms

The German utility will construct two subsidy-free solar farms in Canada.

Innogy aims to build two solar farms in Canada with a total capacity of 57 MW, which will be constructed without any state subsidies, informs the German utility in a press release.

The press release states that construction will begin in the second quarter of 2019, while operations will commence in late 2019. Furthermore, it states that the investment in the two parks is "in the mid double-digit million euro range."
