Envision Energy has nominated Connected Wind Services to service the Chinese company's French turbines, announces Connected Wind Services in a press release.

"Connected Wind Services has +30 years track record within operations and maintenance of wind turbines and huge experience of main component repair. These are critical capabilities which are important to us and our customers. This and the strong ownership and a versatile client focused approach has been one of the obvious reasons for establishing this frame work agreement" says Lars Albæk Nielsen, Head of Service, Envision Energy, in the press release.

Envision Energy's French turbines will be operated by French subsidiary Velocita Energies, whose CEO Eric Caradec says that the company's customers can offer the maximum yield as the partnership with Connected Wind Services will ensure "a high level of performance and productivity of our windfarms in order to offer an optimized asset management to our customers."

Velocita Energies writes in the press release that it has developed, installed and serviced onshore wind farms in France since 2011.

The company has invested EUR 300 million so far in developing and establishing wind farms, delivering 130 MW wind in total. The plan is for the company to oversee the installation of 60 MW in 2019.

Kent Hougaard, Head of Sales at Connected Wind Services which is headquartered in Balle, Denmark, says that "The professional organisation behind Envision Energy and not least the highly interesting pipeline and product focus has been the key in our decision to enter into this frame work agreement. We expect and hope this will be a long lasting and close relationship."

"The agreement marks the entrance of a new wind turbine generator brand in the portfolio of Connected Wind Services," says Felix Overbeck, CEO, Connected Wind Services.
