Nordex reports strong surge in turbine orders

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex's 2018 order intake reached 4.75 GW – up more than 73 percent from the previous year.

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has a solid order intake in 2018. The company sold capacity for a total of 4.75 GW during the year.

That is a 73 percent increase from the previous year, when the combined order intake landed at 2.74 GW, Nordex reports in a press statement Tuesday morning.
