European Energy enters Italian PPA extending more than 12 years

The Danish energy company and Swiss Axpo enter a long-term PPA framework relating to European Energy's coming solar farms in Italy.

European Energy has entered a power purchase agreement (PPA) framework extending more than 12 years with Swiss energy company Axpo.

The deal pertains the sale of electricity from European Energy's coming solar farms in Italy with a combined capacity rating of up to 300 MW. The duration of upwards of 12 years is substantially higher the average agreements in Italy or other European markets, writes European Energy in a press statement.
