New Year's resolutions are often about doing things better in the future, but for Vestas, that sort of thing can also be done almost retroactively. Even though we are all now writing 2019, it is apparently not too late to upgrade expectations for one's own performance last year, which is precisely what the wind turbine maker did rather emphatically Wednesday afternoon.
Free cash flows from 2018 are are now expected to land at approximately EUR 400 million, almost four times prior forecasts for a minimum of EUR 100 million, the company informs.
