Vestas wins Brazilian order for 151 MW

The Danish manufacturer will supply 36 wind turbines to Brazil.

Vestas has landed a 151 MW order for the wind farm Folha Larga in the Brazilian state of Bahia, the company informs in a press statement.

The contract consists of 36 wind turbines of the model V150-4.2 MW, which Vestas announced earlier this year and will start to produce in the country. Aside from the turbine order, Vestas and customer Caso dos Ventos, a local wind energy developer, have entered a 20-year AOM 5000 service contract, the most extensive and expensive type.
