Five Canadian farms totaling 763 MW enter market

EDF is among the winners in the most recent auction for wind farms in the Canadian province Alberta.

Canadian province Alberta has awarded contracts to five wind farms with a total capacity of 763 MW in its most recent auction.

The contracts have been entered with an average price of CAD 39 (USD 29) per MWh, which is a little above the CAD 37 that projects with a capacity of 600 MW were contracted at in Alberta's first renewable energy auction one year ago, writes Recharge News.
