Neas and Centrica land major Italian PPA

Centrica-owned Neas is venturing into the Southern European market with a major power purchase agreement in Italy. The companies plan on becoming dominant players in the Italian market.

Danish trader Neas Energy, which was purchased in 2016 by British energy giant Centrica, is now continuing its announced European expansion.

More specifically, Neas Energy is making its debut in Italy upon entering a partnership with London-based green investment firm Glennmont Partners on trading and balancing 315 MW in onshore wind capacity in Southern Italy and Sicily.
