Swedish wind subsupplier goes shopping in Denmark

Swedish wind energy sector subsupplier Ymer Technology has purchased a Danish hydraulic solution specialist.

Yet another step is being taken toward consolidation in the wind energy sector with Swedish Ymer Technology's purchase of Danish company HKD Technology. The Swedish heat exchange systems manufacturer supplies products to, among other sectors, the wind energy industry and is now acquiring the Danish hydraulic solution specialist, HKD Technology.

The Danish company is thereby is being sold in less than one year after its inception. HKD Technology was established in April of 2018 by two Danish engineers with backgrounds in firms such as Danfoss and Hydratech.
