Midamerican Energy gets critical approval for new, major US project

Warren-Buffet owned utility Midamerican Energy has gained approval for a new project.

Iowa authorities have approved the Wind XII 591 MW wind project put forward by utility Midamerican Energy and slated for 2020, reports Recharge News.

The project is an extension of the giant 2 GW wind energy complex which the company is in the process of installing with turbines primarily from Vestas.
