Senvion lands condition order for 300 MW in India

German wind turbine manufacturer Senvion currently has more than 1 GW on its order books for the Indian market.

German Senvion has entered a conditional agreement to supply 131 wind turbines of the model 2.3M130 to Bhuj Wind Project – a project located in the state of Gujarat under development by Alfranar Energy.

The wind farm is expected begin installation phase in the second quarter of 2020, pending the finalized investment decision. Alfanar and Senvion have also signed a 10-year service contract for the project that will supply power to approximately 290,000 households.
