Prysmian takes a dive on Borso Italiana

Prysmian equity is falling hard on Borso Italiana in Milan, where trading of the company's shares was temporarily suspended late Thursday morning due a share price reduction exceeding 5 percent.

On paper, Italian cable manufacturer Prysmian delivered a relatively undramatic third quarter interim report to the stock exchange in Milan on Wednesday. Nonetheless, this was met with an unusually negative reaction to the cable manufacturer's equity.

Prysmian's share price took a dive in morning hours, leading to a temporary halt in trading. At 10:25 a.m. the share price had lost 4.6 percent value.
