Nordex sells more turbines – books strong setback in revenue

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex is struggling with a weak European market and expects earnings for the whole year to finish in the lower end of its previous guidance. However, strong sales point in the right direction, says CEO.

The European market for wind turbines remains slow for German Nordex, shows the company's third quarter interim report Tuesday morning.

The company's sales reached EUR 1.8 billion in the first nine months of the year – almost EUR 500,000 less than the same period last year.
