Several subsuppliers are ready for floating offshore wind

Cable manufacturers NKT and Prysmian eye a great potential in floating offshore wind, and both companies now report that they are ready to supply to floating wind projects.

Several developers and energy companies have started to become aware of the prospect of floating offshore wind, and several subsuppliers are also ready.

Turbine manufacturing majors Siemens Gamesa and MHI Vestas have already made agreements to supply to pilot projects and upcoming farms. And now cable manufacturers Prysmian and NKT report that they are ready to embark on floating platforms.
