Siemens Gamesa scores 177 MW order in India

The German-Spanish wind turbine manufacturer has landed an order for 86 turbines from India

Siemens Gamesa has received a new order for 177 MW capacity to a customer in India.

The German-Spanish wind turbine manufacturer will supply a total of 86 turbines, rated at 2.0 and 2.1 MW per unit, for two wind farms: the first at 100.8 MW in Kutch near the state of Gujarat  and the second at 76 MW for a project in Osmanabad in the state of Maharashtra
