GE downgrades dividends and will split up energy division

General Electric has disappointed with its Q3 report and is slashing yields to shareholders. However, turbine sales show growth.


GE's Q3 report showed adjusted earnings per share of 14 percent, which was considerably under analyst expectations, which, according to Bloomberg News, had expected 20 cents per share.

Revenue landed at USD 29.57 billion, which was also lower than the expected USD 30.25 billion.
