Senvion and Toshiba enter wind partnership

German Senvion and Japanese Toshiba have entered a partnership within the Japanese market.

Wind turbine manufacturer Senvion and Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions, Toshiba ESS, have entered an agreement to cooperate within the Japanese market for selling, installing and commissioning Senvion turbines.

The two companies write in a press statement that Toshiba ESS will be responsible for dealing with customers and installation, while Senvion will supply turbines, manage operations and maintenance as well a providing technical support. According to the statement, cooperation between the two will entail both onshore and offshore wind energy in Japan.
