Siemens Gamesa reshuffles management

The wind turbine manufacturer will reshuffle both board members and several senior executives.

Roughly one year after having announced its cost-cutting strategy, Siemens Gamesa is conducting an extensive reshuffling among senior executives.

Current board chair Rosa Garcia is being replaced by the company's chief financial officer, Miguel Ángel López. His role will pass on to David Mesonero, who has presided over the manufacturer's development, strategy and merger. Furthermore, Ricardo Chocarro will no longer serve as chief executive officer of Siemens Gamesa's onshore wind division, and he will be temporarily replaced by the company's CEO for Global Service, Mark Albenze.
