Ørsted's latest move feels like a nod to the company's past.
Today, the utility has closed its acquisition of US onshore wind developer Lincoln Clean Energy, an acquisition which was announced in August. With it, the group has acquired a new business division for onshore wind. A press release states that Lincoln Clean Energy will make up the only activity in the business unit – which has not always been the case.
