Sydbank expects Vestas to end the quarter with strong orders

The third quarter tends to be rich in orders for the Danish wind turbine manufacturer, which could impact the share in the coming week, says Sydbank.

Vestas could close Q3 with a strong order intake, says Sydbank's chief share analyst Jacob Pedersen, who says the expectation that Vestas could show a strong order intake in the last few days of September is a possible explanation for why Vestas' share price increased on the stock exchange Friday afternoon.

"I have not seen anything else other than investors preparing for the end of September, where orders tend to pour in. Next week will be strong for Vestas, and it can certainly emerge Thursday or Friday next week. It could be that some investors are beginning to position themselves towards it," says Pedersen to Ritzau Finans.
