Analysts expect further sales from Ørsted

Favorable times and the hunt for returns have led to a seller's market within infrastructure, and Ørsted will be tempted to sell additional wind projects, say analysts.

Ørsted's most recent partial sale of a wind farm in UK waters demonstrates that infrastructure and pension funds are hungry for returns in a time when equity markets are setting records and European interest rates are still around zero.

Even though Ørsted has said that it is not particularly interested in selling off further project stakes in Europe, several analysts expect that the sales will continue.
