Vestas client cancels 600 MW wind project

The list of canceled wind energy projects in the US is increasing in line with the the approach of 2020, the deadline for securing the US's PTC tax credit subsidy scheme.

The large developer has decided to scrap its plans to install the 600 MW wind project Harvest in the state of Indiana, reports Recharge News.

According to the Colorado-based wind energy developer, owned by British RES Group, the cancellation was based on problems relating to connecting the project to the power grid.
