Ørsted buys US onshore wind developer

Today, the Danish utility and developer announced that it has purchased the US-based onshore wind developer Lincoln Clean Energy.

Ørsted announced today that it has entered an agreement with private equity firm I Squared Capital as well as the shareholding management concerning the acquisition of US wind energy developer Lincoln Clean Energy (LCE) .

The sales price is USD 580 million, informs Ørsted in a notice to the stock exchange.
