Enel profits big from green investments

The Italian energy giant Enel is being handsomely rewarded for its growing focus on renewable energy.

Italian Enel has never invested so much in renewable energy as it has in recent years. And never before has the company made so much money as it is making at present.

In the second quarter of 2018, Enel logged EUR 2 billion in net profit. That is 9.4 percent more than in the same period from last year, and the growth will probably continue thought the remainder of the year.
