Analyst: GE's price announcement may be an important sign

"It looks like the first evidence that the price collapse, which really began in the second and third quarters of 2017, seems to be over," says Sydbank analyst.

After a period with falling prices on wind turbines, things are starting to look better if you look at General Electric's (GE) interim report from Friday. And this is definitely good news for the Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas, according to Jacob Pedersen, Equity Reseach Vice President at Danish bank Sydbank.

In a written comment, he notes that GE reported better sales prices on order intake in Q2 of 2018 compared with previous quarters.
