MHI Vestas turbines to be used in Deutsche Bucht pilot project

In a new demo project on the offshore wind project Deutsche Bucht, Northland Power will install two MHI Vestas wind turbines on Mono Bucket foundations.

Northland Power is launching a demo project on the offshore wind project Deutsche Bucht, which will mark the first commercial offshore wind farm to test the Mono Bucket foundation structure under commercial operating conditions.

MHI Vestas' V164-8.4 MW wind turbines will be installed on foundations with just one "foot," announces MHI Vestas in a press release.
