Vestas expands partnership with transmission manufacturer

The German transmission manufacturer ZF and Danish Vestas are now each others' preferred suppliers.

Vestas and ZF Friederichshafen AG are entering a closer cooperation in order to keep down repair costs, minimize the number of future repairs and strengthen production, Vestas writes in a press statement.

The new partnership entails that Vestas will be ZF's preferred supplier for wind turbine repairs, while ZF will be Vestas's first choice when it needs to buy replacements or repair units.
