Lykke Friis resigns from Vestas' board of directors

The former Danish energy and climate minister will be starting a new job as a correspondent and is resigning from the turbine manufacturer's board of directors.

Former Danish energy and climate minister Lykke Friis has chosen to resign from Vestas Wind Systems' board of directors, the company announces in a stock exchange notice Friday after ended trading.

"Lykke Friis has announced her resignation, effective immediately, from Vestas Wind Systems A/S's board of directors, in that she is moving to Germany to work for a news media," wrote Vestas' Wind Systems in the announcement.
