Danish International Development Agency finances a fourth of Vestas' project in Bolivia

Vestas received its first order from Bolivia last weekend, one-fourth of which was financed by DANIDA.

Danida Business Finance is suppling a loan for DKK 300 million (EUR 40.3 million) to the Bolivian Santa Cruz project, which has a total investment capital at DKK 1.2 billion, writes the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press statement.

Vestas will be supplying 30 wind turbines to three wind farms in Bolivia, and these will be installed in 2019 and 2020. The wind farms' total capacity will be at 108 MW.
