EDP Renováveis lands four PPAs at 405 MW in the US

EDP Renováveis, a Vestas customer, will install two large onshore wind farms in the US with firm power purchase agreements.

EDP Renováveis, a big client at Vestas Wind Systems, on Tuesday secured via its US subsidiary EDP Renewables North America four 15-year power purchase agreements with a total capacity at 405 MW from two new wind farms, the company announced Tuesday.

The two wind farms will be located in Illinois and Indiana and will are expected to be operational in 2019 and 2020.
