Media: Macquarie signs deal for floating offshore wind development at 1 GW

Investment bank Macquarie has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for developing a floating offshore wind project at 1 GW.

Australia's Macquarie Group has signed an agreement with South Korea energy company Gyeongbuk Floating Offshore Wind Power regarding a joint venture to develop a floating offshore wind farm of 1 GW, ReNews reports.

According to the media, the two parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and will collaborate on a project that will be located around 50 km off the coast near Pohang and Ulsna in South Korera.
