The US-based utilities company Southern Power has announced on Tuesday the acquisition of the wind farm project Wildhorse Mountain Wind Facility in Oklahoma.
At 100 MW, the size of the project does not really stand out in the US market, where 10 GW is expected to be installed in coming years. Furthermore, this purchase represents but one small step in the larger process of completing the joint-development agreement for 3 GW of wind and solar that Southern Power entered in January 2017 with the British developer RES Group.
