GE dives into project development

US turbine producer will go beyond providing financial services to projects with GE turbines to becoming a co-developer, potentially also within offshore.

The easiest way to secure orders may well be to develop them yourself. Recharge reports that industry giant GE has formed a team from its Energy Financial Services (EFS) division to focus on wind projects where the US company can jump on board as a co-developer. Naturally, for projects which involve GE turbines.
