Vestas and GE sitting on majority of current US projects

The two wind turbine manufacturers are far ahead of competitors in the US, reveals senior consultant Feng Zhao of FTI Consulting.

Vestas and GE Renewable Energy are involved in the majority of current projects on the US wind market where the developer has published the name of the supplier, reveals senior consultant Feng Zhao from FTI Consulting to Ritzau Finans.

According to the consultancy firm, GE and Vestas enjoy a combined market share of 89 percent for projects under construction or advanced development, in cases where the developer has announced the supplier.
