EDP Renewables sees robust year ahead and lower turbine prices

Portuguese wind developer EDP, a major customer of Vestas, sees some busy years ahead with new projects.

The projects ahead to the end of 2020 will be entitled to a full 100 percent of the PTC scheme, but the company has also entered agreements for 80 percent of the subsidy and also sees possibilities for securing projects at 60 percent, which the subsidy has been reduced to this year.
