GE CFO: Confident in "pick-up" of order intake

Product inquires are again on the rise after several slow winter months, says Vikas Anand, Cheif Financial Officer for GE Renewable Energy's onshore business.

Product inquires have increased in volume, and there has recently been more talk of wind turbines for US-based projects, says GE's CFO for onshore business in the US to the Danish financial media bureau Ritzau Finans at a wind-energy conference in Chicago.

"There have recently been more inquires and more conversations. January, February and March are usually a slow part of the year – and tax-reform proposals were in play in the fourth quarter last year. My intuition is that many are only getting over that now," says Vikas Anand.
