It was far from an ideal beginning for KK Wind solutions under new ownership. The company, which develops and produces operating systems for wind turbines, came out of the 2016/2017 fiscal year with a negative result of DKK 6.4 million (EUR 860,000). This is despite a considerably increased revenue.
The annual result drastically worsened in comparison to 2015/2016, when the company made DKK 133 million in profit. KK Wind Solutions changed owners in 2016, changing hands from the Danish pension provider PKA and the investment service company Maj Invest to the investment company Solix. Solix also owns the fiber-cement producer Cembrit and spare-parts producer Hoyer. The Danish pension provider Danica also purchased shares in KK Wind.
